CBSK Ironstate files plans to demolish 358 Bowery
CBSK Ironstate, on December 2, filed a permit application for the demolition of a building at 358 Bowery in Noho.
CBSK Ironstate, a partnership between the Shnay family’s SK Development, Charles Blaichman’s CB Developers, and Ironstate Development, signed a 99-year ground lease at the property for $59.5 million last year. The lease was signed with landlord Eric Goode, who owns multiple hotels including the Bowery Hotel, with Abram Shnay as signatory for the tenant.
The plans call for the demolition of the single-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: full demolition of one-story commercial building with partial mechanical equipment use (skid steer loader, mini excavator and/or excavator).
The building was previously used for the popular B Bar & Grill.
It’s unclear what the plans for the property are. Goode and CBSK have been assembling air rights so the developers can build a larger development on this corner space.
