Koeppel Rosen finishes $4.1M multi-floor rehab of 135 Madison
Koeppel Rosen, on December 10, formally completed a $4.1 million rehabilitation of three floors at 135 Madison Avenue in the Garment District. The co-working company WeWork signed a lease for space in the building in 2017.
135 Madison Avenue is a long-held asset of the Rosen family. The family partnered with David Koeppel in 2016 to form Koeppel Rosen LLC, a commercial real estate firm that now handles the leasing and management side of the Rosen’s Manhattan portfolio.
The plans, pre-filed on November 7, 2019, call for a rehab of floors three, nine, and 10 of the 145-foot tall, 12-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: interior renovation to include demo of existing finish and construction of new partitions and finishes as shown on plans. No change in use, egress or occupancy under this application. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $4,100,000.
Ted Moudis Associates was the architect for the project.
