Simone Sarcona files plans for seven-story commercial building in Chinatown

Simone Sarcona, on January 26, filed a permit application for construction of a 17,750-square-foot commercial kitchens building at 15 Catherine Street in Chinatown, Manhattan.

The plans are one of two new building plans filed in Chinatown in the previous 12 months.

The plans call for the construction of a 86-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00636790. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: Filing herewith for seven-story new building for F-2 commercial kitchens as per plans.

Per the plans, floors one through seven of the building will all be used for commercial kitchen space. The ground floor of the building will also have a lobby and office.

The property was acquired for $5.2 million on May 6, 2021.
