Silverstein Properties finishes $7.4M multi-floor rehab of Equitable Life Building
Silverstein Properties, on August 28, completed a $7.4 million rehabilitation of the basement and two floors of the Equitable Life Building at 120 Broadway in Financial District.
The plans, pre-filed on January 31, 2018, call for a rehab of the basement, first and second floors of the 542-foot tall, 41-story, building.
The project is described in the filings as: architectural work on the basement, 1st and 2nd floor as indicated on drawings. no change in use egress occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $7,400,000.
Last month Silverstein completed a $6.5 million rehab of one floor at the building.
The developer has been actively filing plans at the building so far this year. Most notably, a $4.6 million fit-out of the 15th and 16th floors for tenant, Thornton Tomasetti.
