Shimshon Grunstein fully permitted to bring two mixed-use building, totaling 97-units to Morrisania
Shimshon Grunstein through the company 550 Trinity LLC, on December 17, was given a permit for construction of a 52-unit, 38,753-square-foot mixed-use building at 554 Trinity Avenue in Morrisania, the Bronx.
The plans, pre-filed on February 20, 2020, call for the construction of a 75-foot tall, seven-story mixed-use building.
The project is described in the filings as: proposing new seven-story and cellar mixed-use building.
Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have retail space, community space, a residential lobby, and 16 parking spaces. Floors two through six will each have nine dwelling units per floor, while the seventh floor will have seven dwelling units. The second floor will also have an outdoor recreation space.
Amr Ouda is listed as the architect.
The building that had previously occupied the property was demolished in May of this year.

The lot is currently vacant, as the building that had occupied it was demolished in May.
