SBA files $3.5M plans to add three resi units to Tribeca building

Sergeants Benevolent Association filed plans for a $3.5 million project which will add two floors and thee residential units to a building at 35 Worth Street in Tribeca, Manhattan.

The plans call for an increase in size of the building from a 45-foot tall, four-story building to a 75-foot tall six-story building, and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number M00493928.

The project is described in the filings as: convert third and fourth floor to residential, add two residential floors to the building.

TRA Studio Architecture PLLC is listed as the architect.

According to the plans, the newly constructed fifth floor will have two dwelling units and the newly constructed sixth floor will have one dwelling unit.

The Sergeants Benevolent Association has owned the building since 1996.
