SB Development Group files plans for 26-unit resi in Long Island City

SB Development Group, on March 4, filed a permit application for construction of a 26-unit, 29,859-square-foot residential building at 29-24 40th Avenue in Long Island City, Queens. Joseph Stern, a principal with SB Development Group, filed the plans.

The plans call for the construction of a 103-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00682330. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: filing new building as per plans filed herewith.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby and commercial space. Floors two through six will each have five dwelling units per floor, while the seventh floor will have one dwelling unit and outdoor recreation space.

The architect listed is Fogarty Finger LLC.

The property was acquired for $11 million on July 28, 2015.
