RXR, LBA file demo plans ahead of 255K sf commercial warehouse in Red Hook
RXR Realty and LBA Realty, on July 5, filed a permit application for the demolition of a building at 722 Court Street in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Todd Rechler, chief construction and development officer and president of RXR’s construction and development companies, filed the plans.
The project comes a couple of months after the developers filed a permit application for construction of a 255,370-square-foot commercial warehouse at 683 Court Street.
The property was acquired with additional properties for $19.5 million on December 17, 2021. The acquisition was part of a larger deal in which RXR Realty and LBA Realty paid $123 million to Buckeye Partners for eight industrial and development properties in two separate transactions.
The plans, pre-filed on July 5, 2022, call for the demolition of a two-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: full demolition of two-story masonry building as shown on drawings filed herewith.
