RXR finishes $5.6M multi-floor rehab of office in Grand Central
RXR Realty, on April 15, formally completed a $5.6 million rehabilitation of an office building at 530 Fifth Avenue in Grand Central.
The plans, pre-filed on February 26, 2020, call for a rehab of floors three and four of the 175-foot tall, 26-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: general construction, removal and installation of partitions, doors, finishes, ceilings and related finishes on third and fourth floors. No change to use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $5,600,000.
Vocon was the architect.
In October of 2019, the developer signed a $171 million loan agreement with Nuveen, a subsidiary of TIAA, at the building.
