Rabsky Group files plans for three-building, 180-unit assemblage in East Williamsburg

Rabsky Group, on April 14, filed three permit applications for construction of a 60-unit 131,896-square-foot building at 342 Wallabout Street, a 60-unit 133,619-square-foot building at 330 Wallabout Street, and a 60-unit 118,800-square-foot building at 322 Wallabout Street in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. All three applications were filed by Rafael Rabinowitz.

The developments will occupy a site which Simon Dushinsky’s Rabsky Group purchased for $12.8 million in 2012 from Pfizer. The developer had to rezone the site, which was originally zoned for manufacturing

The first plans, filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number B00492768, call for the construction of an 85-foot tall, eight-story mixed-use building at 342 Wallabout Street.

The project is described in the filing as: eight-story new building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have commercial retail stores. The second floor will have an ambulatory diagnostic center. Floors three through eight will each have 10 dwelling units per floor, while the roof will have recreation space.

Fischer + Makooi Architects is listed as the architect for all three developments.
