RXR files plans for 275-unit mixed-use building in Downtown Brooklyn
RXR Realty, on February 4, filed a permit application for construction of a 275-unit, 312,777-square-foot mixed-use building at 75 Dekalb Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn, Brooklyn. Todd Rechler of RXR filed the plans.
Over the previous 12 months there have been seven new building plans, including these plans, filed in Downtown Brooklyn. The seven plans have combined to call for the construction of 1,999 dwelling units in the neighborhood.
The plans call for the construction of a 348-foot-tall, 29-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00664860.
The project is described in the filing as: erect a new 29-story mixed-use building.
The architect listed is Perkins Eastman.
Back in 2020 the developer filed plans for the construction of a 200-unit, 165,391-square-foot residential building at 2413 Third Avenue in Mott Haven. RXR is also part of the development team, along with LBA Logistics, that filed plans for the 736,867-square-feet Grand Logistics Center at 55-01 Grand Avenue in Maspeth, Queens, in 2020.
