RW Real Estate receives TCO for new 18K sf retail building in Springfield Gardens

RW Real Estate Group, on September 23, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for construction of a 18,942-square-foot retail building at 130-20 Farmers Boulevard in Springfield Gardens. The building is occupied by Blink Fitness. Oren Sauberman, president of RW Real Estate, was the owner representative on the filing.

The plans, pre-filed on June 15, 2017, call for the construction of a 30-foot tall, two-story retail building. The time from pre-file to TCO was three years and three months.

The project is described in the filings as: proposed two-story commercial building with open parking at ground level.

The plans indicate that the ground floor of the development is for retail use while the second floor is described as a physical culture establishment. In total, the building has 47 parking spaces.

Valentino Pompeo Architect P.C was behind the design.

The property was acquired for $3.1 million on January 30, 2017.
