Rockefeller finishes $19.9M rehab at 1271 Avenue of the Americas
Rockefeller Group, on March 22, formally completed a $19.9 million rehabilitation of the cellar and three floors of a building at 1271 Avenue of the Americas in Midtown West. The building was formally known as the Time-Life Building.
The plans, pre-filed on December 28, 2018, call for a rehab of the cellar and floors two through four of the 574-foot tall, 47-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: removal and installation of interior non-bearing partitions and related finishes on the first cellar level, second cellar level, and floors two through four as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $19,864,865.
Ted Moudis Associates was the architect.
Earlier this year the developer completed three rehab projects totaling $130.4 million at the building.
