Spuyten Duyvil co-op files for $2M rehab of multiple fire-damaged floors
The managing agent for the Presidential, on July 1, filed a permit application for a $2 million rehabilitation to several floors of the cooperative building which had been damaged in a fire in January 2020. The building is located at 601 Kappock Street in Spuyten Duyvil, the Bronx.
The plans call for a rehab of floors two through five of the 61-foot tall, six-story, residential building with 100 units.
The project is described in the filings as: for existing fire-damaged apartments, removal of non-structural walls floor and ceiling finishes and reconstruction of apartments.
The fire occurred in late January of 2020.
Mitchell Giurgola Architects LLP is the architect listed.
