Robert Cerrone permitted for 32-unit residential building in LIC
Robert Cerrone of Park Construction Corp, on August 24, was given a permit for construction of a 32-unit, 23,359-square-foot residential building at 37-24 30th Street in Long Island City.
The plans, pre-filed on June 22, 2019, call for the construction of a 70-foot tall, seven-story residential building.
The project is described in the filings as: herewith filing for a new structure, seven-story 32-unit residential building.
The plans indicate the proposed building will have storage space and a parking garage with seven spaces, while there will be seven additional parking spaces outside of the building. The ground floor will have a recreational room, lobby, and mail room. Floors two through six will each have six dwelling units, the seventh floor will have two dwelling units. The roof will provide additional recreation space.
Angelo Costa of Costa Architecture & Engineering is listed as the architect.
Demolition plans were filed in September of 2018 for the one-story warehouse on the property. They were marked as completed in October of 2019.
Initial reports stated an estimated completion date had not been announced.
