Igor Nestor is fully permitted for construction of 40-unit residential building in Bay Ridge

Igor Nestor through the company The Narrows LLC, on August 24, was given a permit for construction of a 40-unit, 39,777-square-foot residential building at 9956 3rd Avenue in Bay Ridge.

The plans, pre-filed on December 31, 2019, call for the construction of an 80-foot tall, eight-story residential building.

The project is described in the filings as: new building.

The plans state the cellar will have storage space and parking for 18 cars. The ground floor will have recreation room, lobby, and parking for an additional 16 cars. Floors two through six will each have six dwelling units, while floors seven and eight will each have five dwelling units. The second floor units will have private roof terraces. The roof will provide a recreation area and pool complete with a pool deck.

The architect listed is Simino Architect.

Demolition plans were filed in September of last year for the house on the property, and marked as completed last month.

At the time of filing, reports stated an estimated completion date had not been announced.

The property was acquired for $2.6 million on August 7, 2019.
