RJ Capital Holdings files plans for 62-unit mixed-use building in Rego Park
RJ Capital Holdings, on December 14, filed a permit application for construction of a 62-unit, 82,425-square-foot mixed-use building at 98-14 66th Avenue in Rego Park, Queens. Rudolf Abramov, a principal and the head of construction with the firm, filed the plans.
The plans are one of seven new building plans filed in Rego Park this year. The plans call for the construction of a total of 870 dwelling units in the neighborhood.
In July of 2020 the developer filed rezoning plans in an effort to construct a 170-unit mixed-use building building at 98-81 Queens Boulevard in Rego Park.
The plans call for the construction of an 85-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00607526. The development site spans one tax lot.

According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby and numerous retail spaces. The second floor will be used as a parking garage for 84 cars. The third floor will have 13 dwelling units, recreation space, a terrace, and an office. The fourth floor will have 19 dwelling units, while floors five through seven will each have 10 dwelling units per floor. The fifth floor will also have recreation space and a terrace. The cellar will have additional retail space.

The property was acquired with four other properties for $9 million on December 26, 2012.
