Rivington Company files plans for a 50-unit residential building in Bushwick
Rivington Company, on July 24, filed a permit application for construction of a 50-unit, 46,015-square-foot residential building at 21 Garden Street in Bushwick.
The plans call for the construction of a 80-foot tall, nine-story residential building. Travis Stabler was the owner’s representative in the filing.
The project is described in the filings as: construct new nine-story and cellar residential building as per plans filed.
The ground floor will have three dwelling units and a gym, according to the plans. Floors two through six will each have seven dwelling units, while the seventh and eighth floors will have six dwelling units. The cellar will provide parking for 18 cars.
The property was acquired for $5.5 million on February 11, 2020. It was the first time the property traded hands in over 48 years. The property was formerly the home of a woodworking company that made custom furniture pieces and cabinetry.
Demolition plans have not yet been filed.
