Harry Einhorn is fully permitted for construction of a 62K sf mixed-use building in Flatbush

Harry Einhorn, on July 23, was given a permit for construction of a 76-unit, 62,800-square-foot mixed-use building at 815 Flatbush Avenue in Flatbush, Brooklyn.

The plans, pre-filed on November 8, 2019, call for the construction of an 85-foot tall, eight-story mixed-use building.

The project is described in the filings as: proposed new eight-story mixed-use building. New building to incorporate foundation walls and southern facade wall of existing building. New building filed to supersede alteration 1 application (320599553) as requested by the NYC Development Hub.

The ground floor of the building with have a residential lobby, recreation space, and six commercial spaces, according to the plans. Floors two through seven will have 11 dwelling units and the eighth floor will have 10 dwelling units. The residences will most likely rentals based on the average size of 764 square feet. The cellar will provide 24 parking spaces and the ground floor will add 16 more.

The developer was given the initial foundation and earthwork permit on July 15.

The property was acquired for $800,000 on February 28, 2020.

The property currently houses a two-story commercial building. Plans were filed for the demolition of the building on October 25, 2019, but have not yet been permitted.
