RFR files plans for $6.5 multi-floor rehab of office space at 160 Fifth Avenue

Aby Rosen’s RFR Holding filed plans for a $6,493,774 rehabilitation of two floors of 160 Fifth Avenue in Flatiron.

The plans call for a rehab of floors three and four of the 150,000-square-foot, nine-story office and retail building, and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number M00464646.

The project is described in the filings as: filing herewith architectural drawing for office renovations on the third and fourth floors and roof as per plans submitted. No change in use, egress or occupancy under this application. Building is located in Ladies Mile Historic District and is exempt from the New York City Energy Conservation Code.

Syska Hennessy Group is the architect named.

Per the developer’s website, after acquiring the property in 2005, RFR fully renovated the eight floors of office space and extended the lease of the ground floor retail tenant Club Monaco. The rehab was completed in 2009.
