RedHoek+Partners files plans for 11-unit mixed-use building in Red Hook

RedHoek+Partners, on May 1, filed a permit application for construction of an 11-unit, 23,791-square-foot building at 381 Van Brunt Street in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Jack Tawil, director of development with RedHoek+Partners, filed the plans.

RedHoek+Partners is a property development group based in in Red Hook, Brooklyn. The developer has other buildings on Van Brunt Street listed in their portfolio. The properties include 253 Van Brunt, 348 Van Brunt, 379 Van Brunt, and 385 Van Brunt.

There have been eight new building plans, including these, filed in the neighborhood in the previous 12 months.

The plans call for the construction of a 40-foot-tall, five-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00725872.

The development site spans one tax lot. The lot has a width of 60 feet.

The project is described in the filing as: Herewith filed five-story mixed-use new building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a lobby and retail space. The second floor will have two dwelling units, and the lower level of three duplex units. The third floor will have one dwelling unit and the upper level of three duplex units. The fourth floor will have three dwelling units, and the fourth floor will have one dwelling unit. The roof will have a terrace. The building will have parking for 10 cars.

The architect listed is Barak Pliskin.

The property was acquired with seven other properties for $5.2 million on November 4, 2021.
