Rabsky Group files for 60-unit mixed-use building, fifth plan at East Williamsburg development site

Simon Dushinsky’s Rabsky Group, on May 14, filed a permit application for construction of a 60-unit, 128,140-square-foot mixed-use building at 352 Wallabout Street in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

Last month the developer filed plans for a 60-unit 131,896-square-foot building at 342 Wallabout Street, a 60-unit 133,619-square-foot building at 330 Wallabout Street, a 60-unit 118,800-square-foot building at 322 Wallabout Street, and a 120-unit, 159,860-square-foot mixed-use building at 11 Gerry Street in the neighborhood.

The developer also recently filed plans for a 52-unit, 53,875-square-foot residential building at 12 Rockwell Place in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. The building will be located on the same tax lot where the developer is constructing a 395-foot-tall, 35-story, 764,352-square-foot building with 1,046 dwelling units at 625 Fulton Street.

The properties are part of a site which was purchased for $12.8 million in 2012 from Pfizer.

The plans call for the construction of an 85-foot tall, eight-story mixed-use building, and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number B00497204. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: eight-story new building.

According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have commercial retail stores. The second floor will have a health facility. Floors three through seven will each have 10 dwelling units per floor, while the eighth floor will have eight dwelling units.

Fischer + Makooi Architects is listed as the architect.
