Prosper Property Group files plans for 133-unit mixed-use building in Rego Park
Prosper Property Group, on September 3, filed a permit application for construction of a 133-unit, 90,926-square-foot mixed-use building at 85-03 68th Road in Rego Park, Queens. Damien Smith, the founder of the firm, filed the plans.
These are the largest new building plans filed in the neighborhood, in terms of residential units, since at least the start of 2018.
The plans call for the construction of an 89-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number Q00584570. The development site spans one tax lot.
The project is described in the filing as: Affordable Housing Job. HUB consultation completed by 8/3/2021. Please assign to HUB team. Proposed new seven-story, mixed-use building with 133 dwelling units, including mandatory inclusionary housing units.
The ground floor of the building will have a residential and retail lobby, as well as 38 parking lots. The second floor will have 22 dwelling units and a private roof terrace. Floors three through six will each have 23 dwelling units per floor, while the seventh floor will have 19 dwelling units with a private roof terrace. The roof will have indoor and outdoor recreation spaces. The cellar will have retail space, 22 parking spaces, and laundry.

The property was acquired for $5.3 million on July 30, 2019.
