Prime Rok Real Estate, Greystone Development receive TCO following $8M conversion a 28K sf residential building in the Upper West Side

Prime Rok Real Estate and Greystone Development, on May 28, were issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for a $8.5 million change in use to a four-unit, 28,413-square-foot residential building at 164 West 74th Street in the Upper West Side.

The plans, pre-filed on July 7, 2016, call for an increase in the size of the building from a seven-story to an eight-story, building.

The project is described in the filings as: herewith filing alteration 1 change of use. Obtain new certificate of occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $8,460,000.

The property was acquired for $26.8 million on February 19, 2016.

RICE Architects will be responsible for the project.
