Plans filed for West Village demo where mixed-use building proposed

Christopher Ma through the entity Jericho Empire LLC, on June 15, filed a permit application for the demolition of a building at 15 Greenwich Avenue in West Village.

The plans call for the demolition of a single-story building.

The project is described in the filings as: full demolition to a one-story building.

Earlier this year in January, the developer filed new building plans calling for the construction of a 63-foot tall, five-story, 5,172-square-foot building with two dwelling units at the site. The plans were disapproved the next month in February.

The building will have retail space on the ground floor, according to the application.

The property was acquired for $600,000 on December 23, 2010.
