Plans filed for four-unit building at recently purchased Kensington site

Iszchak Schwartz, on August 4, filed a permit application for construction of a four-unit, 8,808-square-foot residential building at 1168 46th Street in Kensington, Brooklyn.

The plans call for the construction of a 45-foot-tall, four-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00561509.

The project is described in the filing as: new four-story and cellar, four-family building.

According to the plans, each floor will have one residential unit.

The architect listed is Asher Architect.

The property was acquired for $2.3 million on June 21, 2021.

Other new and active development in the neighborhood includes plans filed by David Weisz on May 26 for the construction of a 44-unit, 45,334-square-foot mixed-use building at 2177 60th Street and a condominium plan submitted by the entity 379 Ocean Parkway LLC for 24 residential units at 379 Ocean Parkway on June 29.
