Plans filed for demo at Astoria dev site, recently purchased for $7M
Peter Zuccarello, on August 25, filed a permit application for the demolition of a building at 11-06 Broadway in Astoria, Queens.
Damien Smith through the entity 12 Street & Broadway LLC paid Chryssanthi Ventouratos $7 million for the property in March. Peter Zuccarello was the signatory on a $4.2 million loan from Valley National Bank.
These are the 17th demolition plans filed in the neighborhood this year.
No plans have been filed at the site yet, which has a total development potential of 14,800 square feet.
The plans call for the demolition of a single-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: full demolition of one-story structure, using hand held and mechanical means to assist. Foundations to remain.
Aleksandr Finkelshteyn, on August 17, filed a permit application for construction of a 35-unit, 24,279-square-foot building at 11-32 31st Drive in the neighborhood.
