Brookfield files plans for $16M in rehabs to Landmark Lever House

Brookfield Properties, on August 24, filed two plans for a total of $16 million of work at the Lever House at 390 Park Avenue in Plaza District, Manhattan. The building was designated a New York City Landmark in 1982.

The Korein family owns the fee for the property and ground leases it to Brookfield Properties and Waterman Interests. Brookfield and Waterman signed a lease valued at $240 million last year.

The first plans call for $10 million of work on floors two through 23 of the 300-foot-tall, 22-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00562858.

The project is described in the filing as: General construction as shown on plans.

The architect listed is Skidmore Owings & Merrill Llp.

The second plans call for $6 million of mechanical work on the cellar, roof, and floors one through 22 of the building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00563273.
