Plans filed for 62-unit resi building at Riverdale site owned by Oxford Property founder

Ami Weinstock, on September 17, filed a permit application for construction of a 62-unit, 38,412-square-foot building at 2895 Valentine Avenue in Riverdale, Bronx. The parcel is owned by Adam Mahfouda, according to city records, a co-founder of the brokerage firm Oxford Property Group.

There have been 13 new building plans filed in Riverdale in 2021, with 12 of them being multifamily residential buildings. Of the 12 residential buildings, these plans call for the fourth most dwelling units.

The plans call for the construction of a 84-foot-tall, nine-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00586599. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed new nine-story and cellar residential building.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have six dwelling units. Floors two through nine will each have seven dwelling units per floor. The roof will have recreation space while the cellar will have laundry and utility rooms.

The architect listed is Na Design Studio.

The property was acquired for $900,000 on November 21, 2019.
