Plans filed for 43-unit resi building in Fort Greene, third largest plans in nabe this year
Marisol Diaz, on August 23, filed a permit application for construction of a 43-unit, 33,308-square-foot residential building at 340 Myrtle Avenue in Fort Greene, Brooklyn.
The plans are the third largest new building plans filed in the neighborhood this year. The largest were Joy Construction’s plans for a 465-unit, 389,226-square-foot mixed-use building at 202 Tillary Street, followed by Rabsky Group’s plans for a 52-unit, 53,875-square-foot residential building at 12 Rockwell Place.
The plans call for the construction of an 85-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number B00577160. The development site spans two tax lots.
The project is described in the filing as: High-Rise, HUB Consultation on 6/9/21. New eight-story building.
According to the plans, the ground floor and cellar of the building will have retail space. The ground floor will also have one dwelling unit and half of a duplex unit. The second floor will have the upper half of the duplex unit, along with six additional dwelling units. Floors three through six will each have eight dwelling units per floor, while the seventh floor will have three dwelling units.
