Boston Properties files plans for a $15.8M in rehabs of former Citicorp Center

Boston Properties, on August 22, filed two plans for a total of $15.8 million of rehabilitations of 601 Lexington Avenue in the Plaza District. Robert Schubert, senior VP of construction for Boston Properties, filed both of the plans.

The first plans call for $12 million of work on the sixth floor of the 810-foot-tall, 59-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00535055.

The project is described in the filing as: removal and installation of interior non-bearing partitions and related finishes as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy.

The architect listed is Ballinger. 601 Lexington was formerly known as the Citicorp Center.

The second plans call for $3.8 million of work of the building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00535157.

The project is described in the filing as: Modification to existing HVAC system as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy.

Earlier this year, the developer formally completed two rehab projects totaling $7.5 million at the building.
