Plans filed for 43-unit mixed-use building in Tremont

Yoel Klein through the entity Honeywell Gardens LLC, on June 21, filed a permit application for construction of a 43-unit, 36,346-square-foot mixed-use building at 2026 Honeywell Avenue in Tremont, the Bronx.

The plans call for the construction of a 71-foot tall, six-story mixed-use building, and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number X00538598. The development site spans four tax lots.

The project is described in the filing as: Proposed six-story and cellar mixed-use building.

According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a residential lobby and 5,967-square-feet of community space. The second floor will have nine dwelling units and outdoor recreation space. Floors three through five will each have nine dwelling units per floor. The sixth floor will have seven dwelling units and recreation space. The building will also have recreation space on the roof and 13 parking spaces in the cellar.

Baobab Architects P.C. is listed as the architect.

One of the parcels was acquired for $499,902 on May 26, 2021.
