Plans filed for $2M exterior rehab of Lotte New York Palace

On August 30, plans were filed for a $2 million exterior rehabilitation of a hotel building, known as Lotte New York Palace, at 455 Madison Avenue in the Plaza District, Manhattan.

There were over $7 million of alteration plans filed at hotels throughout the city in August, the third most of any month so far this year. The highest monthly total came in February, when $27 million of alteration plans were filed.

The plans call for a rehab of the facade of the 539-foot-tall, 51-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00578407.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed facade repairs as indicated on plans submitted herewith. There is no change in use, egress or occupancy.
