Amara Kenneh, on August 18, filed a permit application for construction of a 28,018-square-foot house of worship with classroom space at 1051 Sherman Avenue in Longwood Melrose, Bronx.
The plans call for the construction of a 80-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00572768. The development site spans one tax lot.

According to the plans, floors one through three of the building will be used for a house of worship. Floors four through seven will be used for academic space. The seventh floor will also have two dwelling units.
