Plans filed for 26-unit mixed-use building in Morrisania

Ting Zhang through the company 1270 Boston Road LLC, on February 22, filed a permit application for construction of a 26-unit, 29,216-square-foot mixed-use building at 1270 Boston Road in Morrisania, the Bronx.

The plans call for the construction of a 70-foot tall, eight-story mixed-use building.

The project is described in the filings as: propose new eight-story mixed-use building as per plan. Obtain new certificate of occupancy.

The building will have ground floor retail space, as well as residential and community facility lobbies, per the plans. The second floor will have a health care facility. Floors three and four will each have five dwelling units, while floors five through eight will each have four dwelling units per floor. The third floor will also have outdoor recreational space. The building’s cellar will have an enclosed parking garage for 13 cars.

BMB Building Consulting Inc. is the architect listed.

Demolition plans have not yet been filed for the single-family home that occupies the property.

The property was acquired for $915,000 on April 15, 2019.
