Plans filed for $20.5M in rehabs of space owned by Marsh & McLennan at 1166 Avenue Of The Americas

On March 30, two plans were filed for a total of $20.5 million of work at space owned by Marsh & McLennan at 1166 Avenue of the Americas in Grand Central, Manhattan. Jason Fallucca of CBRE filed the plans.

Last May, $10 million plans were filed for rehab work of 41 through 43 of the building, which are also owned by Marsh & McLennan as part of their global headquarters.

Owners with major stakes in the tower include RXR Realty, Edward J. Minskoff Equities, and Marsh & McLennan.

The first plans call for a $10.4 million project on floors 34 and 35 of the 573-foot-tall, 44-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00682928.

The project is described in the filing as: Minor demolition with installation of new interior partitions, doors, suspended ceilings and finishes on the 34th and 35th floors (MMC Phase 4) as per plans. No change to use, egress or occupancy.

The architect listed is Gensler Architects.

The second plans call for a $10.1 million project on floors 36 and 37 of the 573-foot-tall, 44-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number M00684804.

The project is described in the filing as: Minor demolition with installation of new interior partitions, doors, suspended ceilings and finishes on the 36th and 37th floors (MMC Phase 4) as per plans. No change to use, egress or occupancy.

The architect listed is Gensler Architects.
