Plans filed for 14-unit mixed-use building in Cypress Hills

Ramani Mariappan on behalf of the company 3141 Atlantic Avenue LLC, on May 16, filed a permit application for construction of a 14-unit, 12,644-square-foot mixed-use building at 3141 Atlantic Avenue in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn.

The plans call for the construction of a 73-foot tall, eight-story mixed-use building, and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under number B00512095. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: proposed new eight-story with cellar. Mixed-use building. Mechanical, structural, plumbing, sprinkler, fire alarm, and BPP filed separately.

According to the plans, the ground floor of the building will have retail space. Floors two through eight of the building will each have two dwelling units per floor. The roof of the building will have a recreation area and the cellar will have retail storage space.

VS Consulting Engineering, PC is listed as the architect.

The estimated job cost is $4 million.

The property was acquired for $800,000 on July 30, 2018.
