Pillar Property Management files plans for 50K sf school in Highbridge

Kiumarz Geula’s Pillar Property Management, on November 23, filed a permit application for construction of a 50,343-square-foot school building at 1366 Cromwell Avenue in Highbridge, the Bronx.

Last year the developer filed plans for a 42,307-square-foot community facility and school building at 808 Cauldwell Avenue in the Woodstock neighborhood of the Bronx.

The plans call for the construction of a 95-foot-tall, seven-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00613043.

The project is described in the filing as: propose new seven-story with cellar educational building. All related works will be filed separately.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have classrooms, a teacher lounge, auditorium, community room, library, and lobby. The second floor will have classrooms and offices. Floors three through six will each have classroom space. The seventh floor will have storage space and a gymnasium.

The architect listed is Peter Chiang Architect, PLLC.

The property was acquired for $2.5 million on November 15, 2018.
