Piedmont permitted for $13.5M multi-floor rehab of 60 Broad Street
Piedmont Office Realty Trust, on January 20, was given a permit for a $13.5 million rehabilitation of four floors of 60 Broad Street in the Financial District. Steven Martinek, senior property manager at Piedmont Office Realty Trust, filed the plans.
The plans, pre-filed on June 18, 2020, call for a rehab of floors seven through 10 of the 495-foot tall, 38-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: (phase II) removal and installation of interior non-bearing partitions as per plans filed herewith. No change of use, occupancy or egress under this application. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $13,500,000.
Piedmont bought the building in 2003 for $213.6 million.
Gensler is listed as the architect on the application.
