Innovo permitted to demolish two buildings on four-acre LIC site

Andrew Chung’s Innovo Property Group, on January 20, was given permits for the demolition of two buildings at 28-90 H Review Avenue and 28-90 G Review Avenue in Long Island City.

The developer purchased the four-acre 28-90 Review Avenue site from JBL Asset Management for $34.1 million in June of 2020.

The first plans, pre-filed on May 20, 2020, call for the demolition of a single-story structure at 28-90 H Review Avenue.

The project is described in the filings as: full demolition of one-story structure, using hand held equipment and mechanical means will be used on grade only, to assist with loading out of debris onto trucks, slab on grade removal and back-fill site.

No new building plans have been filed yet at the property. The developer’s website states the site is “ideally located for last-mile warehouse, distribution and fleet parking users.”

According to reports, the property can accommodate approximately 400,000-square-feet of commercial development.

JBL purchased the property for $25 million in 2016.
