Peter Fine files plans for 87K sf school in Riverdale

Peter Fine, on November 16, filed a permit application for construction of a 87,140-square-foot school building at 263 East 203rd Street in Riverdale, Bronx.

Peter Fine has filed multiple other plans for schools in the borough this year as well. On January 11, the developer filed a permit application for construction of a 107,373-square-foot school building at 1016 Fox Street in Morrisania, then, on October 8, Fine filed a permit application for construction of a 67,220-square-foot school building at 1956 Jerome Avenue in Tremont.

The plans call for the construction of a 77-foot-tall, six-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00629381. The development site spans several tax lots.

The project is described in the filing as: construct new six-story school as per plans filed.

Per the plans, the ground floor will have a cafeteria, kitchen, lobby, office space, and classroom space. Floors two through six will all have classroom space. The fifth floor will also have a gym.

The architect listed is Gf55 Partners.

The property was acquired for $807,300 on April 11, 2019.
