Peter Fine files plans for 67K sf school in Tremont

Peter Fine, on October 8, filed a permit application for construction of a 67,220-square-foot school building at 1956 Jerome Avenue in Tremont, the Bronx.

The developer acquired the building for $5.5 million earlier this year.

In January, the developer filed a permit application for construction of a 107,373-square-foot school building at 1016 Fox Street in Morrisania.

The plans are one of 24 new building plans filed in the neighborhood so far this year.

The plans call for the construction of a 104-foot-tall, eight-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00600819.

The project is described in the filing as: application filed to construct new eight-story school.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have a lobby and office space. The second floor will have a kitchen and dining area. The third floor will have office and classroom space. Floors four through seven will all have classroom space. The eighth floor will have a gym.
