Amarjit Singh files plans for 25-unit resi building, first NB plans filed in Bronxwood this year

Amarjit Singh, on October 8, filed a permit application for construction of a 25-unit, 14,945-square-foot residential building at 3020 Williamsbridge Road in Bronxwood, the Bronx.

The plans are the first new building plans filed in the neighborhood so far this year. Last year there were 17 new building plans filed in Bronxwood.

Last month the developer filed plans for a 16-unit, 10,655-square-foot residential building at 2136 Matthews Avenue in Pelham Parkway.

The plans call for the construction of a 37-foot-tall, four-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00598750. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: New apartment building proposed.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have four dwelling units. Floors two through four will each have seven dwelling units per floor.

The architect listed is Badaly Architects.

The estimated job cost is $3,500,000.

The property was acquired for $1.6 million on June 29, 2021.
