Peter Fine files plans for 141-unit mixed-use building with school in Mott Haven

Peter Fine, on December 20, filed a permit application for construction of a 141-unit, 196,902-square-foot mixed-use building at 350 Grand Concourse in Mott Haven, Bronx.

The property was acquired for $21.2 million on November 17, 2021.

There have been six new building plans filed in Mott Haven this year, including these plans. The six plans called for the construction of 1,134 new dwelling units in the neighborhood.

The developer has filed multiple new building plans this year. On October 8, he filed a permit application for construction of a 67,220-square-foot school building at 1956 Jerome Avenue in Tremont. Last month the developer filed a permit application for construction of a 87,140-square-foot school building at 263 East 203rd Street in Riverdale, the Bronx.

The plans call for the construction of a 144-foot-tall, 12-story building and were filed with the New York City Department of Buildings under job number X00646621. The development site spans one tax lot.

The project is described in the filing as: [Housing Preservation and Development] HPD NB filed to construct a new mixed-use building of community facility and residential use.

Per the plans, the ground floor of the building will have parking for 50 cars, a residential lobby, storage, utilities rooms, a residential lobby, waiting area, locker room, nurse’s office, and meeting rooms. The second floor will have a cafeteria, terrace, office space, conference room, and art room. Floors three through five will all be used for classroom space, the fifth floor will also have a gymnasium. The residential dwelling units will span the upper floors. The 12th floor will also have a terrace and lounge.
