Peter Fine files plans for 107K sf school with retail space in Morrisania
Peter Fine through the company 1000 Westchester Avenue LLC, on January 11, filed a permit application for construction of a 107,373-square-foot school building at 1016 Fox Street in Morrisania, the Bronx.
The plans call for the construction of a 91-foot tall, six-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: a six-story new building.
According to the plans, the ground floor will have several retail spaces, lobbies, offices, storage space, and a conference room. The second floor will have multiple play areas, classrooms, and a nurse room. The third floor will have a dining area, kitchen, and office and classroom space. Floors four and five will each have office and classroom space. The sixth floor will have a gymnasium and classroom space.
GF55 Architects is listed as the architect.
Demolition plans were filed in May of last year for the one-story structure on the property. The plans were permitted this month.
The property was acquired for $10 million on October 15, 2018.
Peter Fine recently sold two parcels with permitted projects totaling 323 units in Riverdale to Camba for $16.5 million.
