Permit issued for 21-unit resi building in Greenpoint
Elvira Ross through the company 142 Huron LLC, on March 15, was given a permit for construction of a 21-unit, 14,293-square-foot residential building at 142 Huron Street in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
The permit was a plumbing permit. The developer received new building and foundation permits in January.
The plans, pre-filed on March 20, 2019, call for the construction of a 50-foot-tall, five-story, 14,293-square-foot residential building with 21 residential units.
The project is described in the filing as: new five-story residential building. Architectural/general construction work only.
The ground floor of the building will have a lobby, recreational room, and one dwelling unit, per the plans. Floors two through five will each have five dwelling units per floor. The building will have 11 parking spaces and recreational space on the roof.
Antonio Di Oronzo of Bluearch LLC is listed as the architect.
Demolition of the building that previously occupied the property was completed last year.
An estimated completion date has not been announced.
