Irish Arts Center receives TCO for new 17K sf location in Clinton
Irish Arts Center, on March 15, was issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for construction of a 17,139-square-foot building at 726 11th Avenue in Clinton. Christine Cullen filled the plans.
The plans, pre-filed on May 17, 2017, call for the construction of a 59-foot tall, three-story building. The time from pre-file to TCO was three years and 10 months.
The project is described in the filings as: filing herewith new building as per plans.
The ground floor of the new building is comprised of classroom and studio space, a community lobby, kitchen, cafe, servery, and dressing rooms, according to the plans. The second floor has a theater and dressing rooms. The mezzanine has a gallery, while the third floor has additional classroom space.
The building was designed by Davis Brody Bond.
The project involved the repurposing and expansion of a former two-story garage called Cybert Tire, which had occupied the site since 1916.
