Permit for 22-unit resi building in Mott Haven

Joel Rubin through the company East 134th Terrace LLC, on March 17, was given a permit for construction of a 22-unit, 15,000-square-foot residential building at 304 East 134th St in Mott Haven, the Bronx.

The developer was given both new building and foundation permits.

The plans, pre-filed on February 28, 2020, call for the construction of a 70-foot-tall, seven-story residential building.

The project was described in the fillings as: proposed new seven-story and cellar residential building.

The building will have parking for six cars at the ground floor level, per the plans. Floors two through six will each have four dwelling units per floor, while the seventh floor will have two dwelling units with private terraces and two recreation spaces. The cellar will have laundry and additional recreation space.

S. Wieder Architect is listed as the architect.

Demolition plans have not been filed yet.

An estimated completion date has not been announced.

The property was acquired with two other properties for $2 million on October 28, 2020.
