Paramount Group finishes $5.8M multi-floor office rehab near Times Square
Paramount Group, on September 14, formally completed a $5.8 million rehabilitation of two floors of the Paramount Plaza building at 1633 Broadway in Midtown West north of Times Square.
The plans, pre-filed on January 25, 2017, call for a rehab of floors 29 and 30 of the 709-foot tall, 48-story building.
The project is described in the filings as: removal and installation of interior non-bearing partitions and related finishes as per plans filed herewith. No change in use, egress or occupancy. The initial cost as reported in the DOB filing for the work described in this permit application is $5,816,988.
TPG Architecture, LLP was the architect listed on the filing.
Morgan Stanley signed a 15-year lease for five floors spanning 261,000 square feet in the building back in 2015. It was reported that the asking rent was in the range of $70 per square foot. Other tenants include TD Bank, Warner Music Group, and Equinox.
Princi and Azalea Restaurant occupy two of the building’s eating and drinking establishments, according the Paramount’s website.
Eight A2 rehab plans have been filed at the building this year.
