Josil Group files plans for 24-unit residential building in Hunts Point
Joseph Silberman of the Josil Group, on September 14, filed a permit application for construction of a 24-unit, 16,478-square-foot residential building at 661 Manida Street in Hunts Point.
The plans call for the construction of a 55-foot tall, four-story residential building with penthouse.
The project is described in the filings as: proposed four-story and penthouse with cellar residential building, total of 24 dwelling units.
The building’s cellar will have laundry facilities according to the plans. The ground floor of the building will have a lobby, 547-square-foot resident recreation room, and three dwelling units. Floors two and three will each have seven dwelling units. The fourth floor will have four dwelling units along with the lower halves of three duplex dwelling units, the upper halves of which will be located on the penthouse. In total, the building will have 12 parking spaces.
Amr Ouda, PE is listed as the architect on the filing.
Demolition plans were filed on October 25, 2019, for the two-story house on the lot. Those plans were permitted last month but a demolition has not been signed off.
The property was acquired for $805,000 on July 31, 2019.
An estimated completion date has not been announced.
